Types of Honeycomb Shades
- Remote controlled
Honeycomb Shades can be ordered with motorized headrail that lifts and lowers the shades with a single or five channel portable remote control or wall unit. This feature is ideal for operating shades on hard to reach windows and for operating several shades at once with the touch of a button. Honeycomb Shades can even be programmed to automatically open and close at specific times of the day and night. Elimination of lift cords is also safer for children and pets.
- Top Down Bottom Up
This feature allows the shade to be both lifted from the bottom and lowered from the top. Top Down Bottom Up is an ideal choice for bedrooms and bathrooms because light can be allowed in at the top of the window without compromising privacy.
- Continuous Cord Loop
The continuous cord loop lifting system is a great choice for larger windows. A tension pulley neatly affixes to the wall or window casing allows for smooth, easy operation of your shades and makes the shade safer for children and pets.
- Cordless
Cordless shades are raised and lowered with a handle mounted to the bottom rail. This option gives the window a clean, cord free appearance is safer for children and pets. A telescoping reach pole is available for shades mounted in higher windows out of normal reach.
- Single Cell Honeycomb Shades
Available in sheer, semi-sheer, semi-opaque and opaque materials, single cellular Honeycomb Shades come in ¾” pleats for larger windows and 3/8” pleats for smaller windows.
- Duel Cell Honeycomb Shades
Dual cellular shades have two layers of honeycomb cells with ½” pleats to insulate your windows and provide maximize energy efficiency.
- DuoShades®
This state of the art design combines two fabrics with different opacity levels in one shade. Use the sheer shade on top to gently diffuse light during the day and the more opaque shade on the bottom for complete privacy at night.
- Flexcell Honeycomb Blinds
Flexcell Honeycomb Blinds are a new and innovative addition to the Honeycomb Shade collection. These unique window treatments feature an integrated, color-coordinated headrail and combine the soft look and energy efficiency of a Honeycomb Shade with the functionality of a horizontal blind. The fabric vanes expand to provide privacy and light control and compress to allow in the light and view without lifting the shade. Available in both translucent and room darkening fabrics, our exclusive color line enables you to create a custom, designer look on virtually any window in your home. All blinds are operated with a Continuous Cord Loop operating system.
Honeycomb Shades Features and Options
In addition to offering a variety of light control and privacy options, Honeycomb Shades are lightweight, easy to operate and when drawn open, have minimal stack which will not obstruct your view. While displaying beautiful color inside, Honeycomb Shades have a neutral backing which shows from the exterior of your home.
Honeycomb Shades can be mounted inside or outside the window opening and lift cords can be placed on the right or left side of the shade and ordered at custom lengths to ensure easy access.
