3 Day Blinds Warranties
3 Day Blinds proudly extends the following warranties on products and services to the original buyer, with proof of purchase.
Standard Product Warranty
What is covered: - Lifetime of product:
- Operating mechanisms other than motors
- Components
- For 7 Years:
- Cords and Ladders. After 7 years, a nominal fee applies for repair or client can order replacement parts (a handling fee will be applied).
- For 5 Years:
- Fabrics
- Motors and Remote Controls
- Within 30 days of receipt of product:
- Manufacturing defects
- Shipping damage
What is not covered:
- Product failure due to improper installation or operation, alteration by anyone other than a 3 Day Blinds representative, abuse, misuse, damage from pets or insects, or exposure to excess heat or moisture.
- Normal variations in color grain or texture of natural products, slight warping of wood products, and natural color changes to materials that take place over time.
- Products that exceed size recommendations or are otherwise made outside 3 Day Blinds’ specifications.
- Free in-home repair except for warranty repairs within one year if installation is purchased from 3 Day Blinds.
Please note the following:
- Resolution of Warranty Issues: If it is determined that warranty service is required, it will be determined at the sole discretion of a 3 Day Blinds representative whether the product will be repaired or replaced.
- Matching Products: In the event that there are multiple products in the same room, only the defective product will be repaired or replaced. Every effort will be made to match the original specifications. If this is not possible, we will match the product as closely as possible.
- Non-3 Day Blinds Products: Products sold by 3 Day Blinds under a different brand name are subject to the warranties of the specific manufacturer.
- Transportation Costs: For products purchased through a 3 Day Blinds Design Consultant or Company-owned Showroom, 3 Day Blinds offers free in-home repairs for one year if installation is purchased. In other cases, it is the responsibility of the customer to transport the product to an authorized 3 Day Blinds service center. Costs associated product removal, reinstallation transportation to and from the repair facility are not covered in this warranty.
Professional Installation Warranty
(Available through 3 Day Blinds Design Consultants and 3 Day Blinds Company-Owned Showrooms only. If purchasing through an Authorized Retailer, your installation warranty agreement will be with them)
If professional installation services are purchased along with the product, we will come to your home to attempt perform any service required under the “Standard Product Warranty” at no additional charge for 1 year from date of purchase. If it is necessary to remove the product from the home in order to complete the repairs, 3 Day Blinds will re-install the product free of charge.
Procedures:
If you purchased your window treatments through an Authorized Retailer (any entity other than a 3 Day Blinds Design Consultant, 3 Day Blinds Company Owned Showroom or otherwise directly from 3 Day Blinds), contact the Authorized Retailer.
If you purchased your window treatments through a 3 Day Blinds Design Consultant or 3 Day Blinds Company Owned Showroom, and your product requires warranty service, call us at 877-712-3329. Please include the following information so we may process your request in a timely manner.
- Original Invoice number
- Contact information including first and last name, address (where the window coverings are installed), best number to reach you during the day
- Specific details as to your warranty request
- A picture (digital picture inserted to the email) of the specific warranty issue so that we may better diagnose your request
- A Client Care Expert will diagnose and attempt to troubleshoot the problem within 48 hours.
PLEASE NOTE: THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY. 3 DAY BLINDS DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS AND/OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL 3 DAY BLINDS BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, OR OTHER INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to everyone. This warranty gives everyone specific legal rights, including other rights which vary from state to state.
