Vertical Blind Material
Vinyl
Vinyl Vertical Blinds are available with 3 ½” PVC vanes in an array of colors or textured vanes that beautifully replicate the look of fabric. When the functionality of a vertical and horizontal product are needed in the same room, select coordinating Vinyl Vertical Blinds with our Vinyl Blinds.
Fabric
Contemporary woven textures and classic, sophisticated patterns add richness, warmth and color to your room. Fabric vanes can be free-hanging or inserted by adding a PVC channel behind your 3 ½” fabric vane which will increase the insulation, light control and privacy of your Fabric Vertical Blind. Inserted vanes will also allow a neutral look when viewed from your homes exterior. When the functionality of a vertical and horizontal product are needed in the same room select coordinating Fabric Vertical Blinds with our Roller Shades or Roman Shades.
Sheer
Sheer Vertical Blinds have 3 ½” vinyl vanes surrounded by a luxurious sheer fabric casing. Available in a palette of alluring colors and sophisticated textures, they are the perfect solution for those who love the look of a sheer drapery window treatment but want the light control, privacy and insulation of a Vertical Blind. When the functionality of a vertical and horizontal product are needed in the same room select coordinating Sheer Vertical Blinds with our Horizontal Sheer Shades.
Vertical Blind Operation
Draw Cord and Tilt Chain
The draw cord evenly moves the vanes to one or both sides and the durable, corrosion resistant beaded chain tilts the vanes open and closed.
Cordless Wand Control
A popular alternative to the draw cord and chain tilt, a cordless wand control tilts the vanes and draws the blind open and closed. This is a safer option for children and pets.
Vertical Blind Draw Options
One Way
Vanes stack to the same side as the controls.
Center Open
The blind opens from the center and vanes stack evenly to the sides.
Reverse Draw
Vanes stack to the side opposite the controls.
Vertical Blind Specialty Shapes
Pet Port
Vertical Blinds can be made with shorter vanes on a section of the blind to accommodate a pet door.
Vertical Blind Upgrades
Channeled PVC Inserts
This is when a fabric vane is inserted into a white or ivory Channeled PVC insert. This upgrade enhances insulation and durability of fabric and allows a neutral look when viewed from your homes exterior.
Key Hole Punch
A special manufacturing process ensures the vanes stay in perfect alignment and a key hole punch and chain can be placed at the bottom of the vanes so they stay together to maximize light control and privacy.

Cathedral Cornice
The profile of a cornice is like that of a large decorative valance with returns. The Cathedral Cornice comes in a 4 ½” or 5 ½” profile and can be used to make a bold statement to top off your window.
Keystones
Keystones are decorative embellishments which add beauty and strength to our Cathedral Cornice.
Extension Brackets
Used to project the Vertical Blind up to 3” from the mounting surface, Extension Brackets are ideal if your blind must clear an obstruction such as window molding, a sliding glass door handle or window crank.
Split Control
Split Control is when you have the controls for raising/lowering as well as opening/closing the Wood Blind on opposite sides.
Vertical Blind No Charge Options
Inside Mount
Vertical Blinds can be mounted to the inside of the window frame at the top or sides, this is called an Inside Mount. Most people prefer an Inside Mount because it provides a customized, tailored look and leave decorative molding and window sills exposed.
Outside Mount
Outside Mount is when a Vertical Blinds is mounted to the wall or molding surrounding the window. Outside Mount is ideal if there is not enough mounting depth for your Vertical Blinds in the window frame. Other reasons to choose an Outside Mount include making a window appear larger, allowing the product to stack above or to the side in order to provide an unobstructed view or maximizing privacy by eliminating light gaps.
Standard Valance
Inserting the same Vinyl or Fabric as the Vertical Blind into a clear PVC valance, a standard valance can be ordered to add the perfect finishing touch to the window.
Valance Return Size
Valance returns attach to the back sides of your valance, and extend precisely to the wall or window frame to add a finished look to your window.
Pulley Color
The Vertical Blind tension pulley is available in your choice or white or ivory.
Availability of options and upgrades will vary based on the materials and product operation selected.
