Vinyl Blind Material
The 2” curved PVC slats simulate the look of vintage venetian blinds but have an updated, contemporary feel.
Vinyl Blind Operation
Vinyl Blinds can be raised/lowered using lift cords and the slats may be opened/closed using a wand control.
Two Vinyl Blinds are connected by one continuous headrail. This is a great feature for windows with multiple openings because the right and left blinds operate independently. Regardless of how you select to operate your Vinyl Blind, you can have them 2-on-1 headrail.
Vinyl Blind Upgrades
Wood Blinds can be embellished with decorative tapes available in dozens of unique colors and patterns. The tapes cover the route holes on the slats to enhance light control and privacy as well as add a stylish personal touch.
Used to project the Vinyl Blind up to 3” from the mounting surface, Extension Brackets are ideal if your blind must clear an obstruction such as window molding, a sliding glass door handle or window crank.
Vinyl Blind No Charge Options
Vinyl Blinds can be mounted to the inside of the window frame at the top or sides, this is called and Inside Mount. Most people prefer an Inside Mount because it provides a customized, tailored look and leave decorative molding and window sills exposed.
Outside Mount is when a Vinyl Blinds is mounted to the wall or molding surrounding the window. Outside Mount is ideal if there is not enough mounting depth for your Vinyl Blinds in the window frame. Other reasons to choose an Outside Mount include making a window appear larger, allowing the product to stack above or to the side in order to provide an unobstructed view or maximizing privacy by eliminating light gaps.
This simple valance completes the look of Vinyl Blind, using two color coordinated slats.
Valance Return Size
Valance returns attached to the back sides of your valance, and extend precisely to the wall or window frame to add a finished look to your window.
Same Side Controls
The Vinyl Blind controls to open/close, raise/lower the blind can both be placed on the right or left side of the blind.
The controls to open/close, raise/lower your Vinyl Blind can be placed on the right or left side of the blind.
Split Control is when you have the controls for raising/lowering as well as opening/closing the Vinyl Blind on opposite sides.
Vinyl Blinds are made with a traditional wand that tilts the slats open/closed.
Control lengths can be made at custom lengths to accommodate a variety of window heights.
Spacers are available for use on windows with a projected molding. They are 3/8" thick and allow the blind to be mounted flush with the outside edge of any standard window molding.
Hold Down Brackets
Hold Down Brackets are used to secure the bottom of a Vinyl Blind when it is mounted to a door or used in a motor home.
Availability of options and upgrades will vary based on the materials and product operation selected.
