Relaxed Soft Roman Shade
A versatile flat shade that pulls up in a relaxed, loose fashion, developing a slight scallop along the bottom edge as it is raised. Works well with most fabrics. Softer, more pliable fabrics fall into a scallop more easily, while stiff, full-bodied fabrics have less tendency to scallop. Inside Mount shades may have a light gap where sides draw up
Flat Soft Roman Shade
A tailored shade with no horizontal seams across the front of the shade. When shades are raised, the shade creates neat folds along the bottom creating a small stacking space. Works well with most fabrics. Also available with Top Down Bottom Up operating system. Shades ordered with Top Down Bottom Up will come with a fabric valance.
Casual Soft Roman Shade
A casual yet elegant shade that features a center pleat at the upper edge. Works well with most fabrics. Soft, pliable fabrics fall easily into the swag, while stiffer, more full-bodied fabrics may require more dressing. Inside mount shades may have a light gap where the sides draw up.
Gathered Soft Roman Shade
A shade with minimal gathering across the top. When raised, the shade draws up in large sections forming wings on each side. Works best with soft, pliable fabrics. Wrinkling should be considered when selecting a fabric and shades will require dressing. Inside mount shades may have a light gap where the sides draw up.
Hobbled Soft Roman Shade
A classic style with cascades from the top to the bottom of the shade. Works well with most fabrics. Lightweight fabrics drape down more than tightly woven fabrics. Full-bodied fabrics have a tendency to project forward more.
Roman Shade Operation
Corded Soft Roman Shades are raised and lowered to any desired position using our easy to use cord lock system.
Top Down Bottom Up
This feature allows the Soft Roman Shade to be both lifted from the bottom and lowered from the top. This is an ideal choice for bedrooms and bathrooms because light can be allowed in at the top of the window without compromising privacy. Shades will come with a fabric valance. Available with our Flat Fold Style.
Continuous Cord Loop
The Continuous Cord Loop operating system is a great choice for larger windows. A tension pulley neatly affixes to the wall or window casing allowing for smooth, easy operation of your Soft Roman Shades and makes it safer for children and pets.
Roman Shade Upgrades
Room Darkening Liner
Fabric lining can be selected to block out light which saves on heating and cooling costs, protects upholstery and carpet from UV rays. This is ideal for daytime sleepers and media rooms. Also creates a neutral look when viewed from your home's exterior.
Roman Shade No Charge Options
Inside Mount
Soft Roman Shades can be mounted to the inside of the window frame at the top or sides, this is called an Inside Mount. Most people prefer an Inside Mount because it provides a customized, tailored look and leave decorative molding and window sills exposed.
Outside Mount
Outside Mount is when a Soft Roman Shade is mounted to the wall or molding surrounding the window. Outside Mount is ideal if there is not enough mounting depth for your Soft Roman Shade in the window frame. Other reasons to choose an Outside Mount include making a window appear larger, allowing the product to stack above or to the side in order to provide an unobstructed view or maximizing privacy by eliminating light gaps.
Control Side
You can choose to have the lift cord to raise/lower your Soft Roman Shade on either the right or left side.
Control Length
Control lengths can be made at custom lengths to accommodate a variety of window heights.
