  • The customer service I received was less than acceptable. I had a hard time getting in touch with the case manager. Nobody was ever on the same page and it seems they prefer to just send someone out right away without even assessing the situation. This service fee is $85 and not always necessary. I have had a difficult time with 3 day blinds on numerous occasions and will not ever use them again.
  • Let me begin my saying my husband and I are both seniors, 81 and 76 years. We are not as agile as we once were. When we decided to replace the chord-operated verticals in our family room we decided on remote operated shades. Because of the cord placement of the current verticals it was necessary to move or climb behind furniture. Very inconvenient and awkward. The day the new shades were installed I noticed that all the battery containers (the method used for remote operation) were on the left of the window. This was not acceptable because when the batteries needed replacing it meant we still had to move furniture to get to them. I called the design consultant and said this was unacceptable and she graciously arranged to have the battery containers moved so they would be more readily accessible. When the installer was working on the re-positioning, I noticed had to remove the overhead valance. When asked why he was doing that I was told this is the only way to access the battery case. Thus, disappointment #2. Now instead of just climbing over furniture, when it comes time to replace the batteries we now have to move furniture in order to position a ladder that we have to climb to remove the valance so we can replace the batteries. Quite a feat for someone our ages! I am so disappointed! I don't see any way around this. Hopefully you might have a suggestion. The installer suggested having 3-Day Blinds come do it. This would cost $89 a visit. This is not an option because, realistically, the batteries would have to be replaced twice a year. In conclusion, NO, I would not recommend 3-Day blinds to family and friends. What started out as such a positive experience turned into an absolute nightmare!
