Yes the 3 Day Blinds hub requires a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi Network.
How do I know if I have a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi Connection?
Most modern routers are dual band and operate at both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz. The best way to ensure that your home network is compatible is to call your internet provider and ask them to identify your 2.4Ghz frequency or make that frequency visible from your router settings. This is a very common request to internet providers and should be able to be resolved fairly quickly. You can also watch this video to learn more about the 2.4Ghz band.
Whats the difference between 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz?
Virtually all WiFi routers have both 5GHz and 2.4 GHz frequency. The 2.4 Ghz frequency offers a wide coverage area and is better at penetrating solid objects such as walls, therefore, the 3 Day Blinds Hub can only be set up with the 2.4 Ghz frequency with a reliable and steady connection.
