What are the benefits of motorized window treatments?
Motorized window treatments offer convenience, security, and enhanced privacy. No more interruptions making minor adjustments to your window treatments due to needing more light, or removing pesky glare. Set timers and scenes to automate your window treatments for enhanced privacy and security. With the touch of a button or a voice command (if you opt for the 3 Day Blinds hub) your window treatments will open and close with the greatest of ease.
How do Motorized Shades Work?
3 Day Blinds motorized shades are operated by a remote control and are powered by a rechargeable battery in the headrail of the treatment. These rechargeable batteries are easy to access and the cords come with a magnetic tip to help you ensure a strong charging connection. With the 3 Day Blinds hub you'll also be able to connect your window treatments to the 3 Day Blinds motorization app and smart home devices

Which window treatments are available for Motorization?
We offer motorization on a variety of products. We currently offer motorization on cellular shades, roller shades, soft roman shades, roman shades, horizontal sheer shades, simply sheer shades, woven wood shades, and have motorized hardware for drapery.
Can I group two different products together?
Yes, you certainly can. If you had a woven wood shade in your kitchen and a roller shade in your living room and you wanted to group them that is totally possible. As long as the products are close enough together and in range of the remote. You can also achieve this through the 3 Day Blinds hub and 3 Day Blinds motorization app.
How do I know when I need to charge?
There are a few indicators that your shades need to be charged. First is if your shades beep when operating, then you need to charge your shades. If your shades start operating at slower speeds without you changing the motor speed this is also an indication that your shades need to be charged.
Installation Questions
What should I do to prepare for my install?

If you are just buying motorized shades you are ready for installation. If you are taking your shades to the next level with the 3 Day Blinds smart hub there are a few things you can do to prepare for the installation of your new motorized window treatments.

  • Know you're Wi-Fi name and Password
  • Ensure you have a visible 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi band
  • Download the 3 Day Blinds app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
  • Ensure your phone is updated to the most recent software
  • Determine where you will place the smart hub
  • Decide which group of shades (Scene) you want to have the installer show you how to set up
  • If applicable, ensure your home automation system (Alexa, Google Home, etc) is connected and accessible
How do I ensure I have a visible 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi connection?
Most modern routers have both 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz bands available. You can consult your routers manual, or call your internet service provider for help. This is a common request to internet service providers and should be quick to resolve.
